Currently, it’s “Glee.” Excellent writing, amazing talent and creativity, and constantly funny.
In the past, “Star Trek: Next Generation,” “Quantum Leap,” “Moonlighting,” “Twilight Zone” (with Rod Serling), and “Wild Wild West” are among the greats.

Modern TV show? House M.D.

Buffy. It might not be the best show i’ve seen, but it’s the one that i loved the most. Seasons 2 and 3 in particular were awesome.

The West Wing, The Wire, Farscape and Firefly all come close.

But I haven’t really watched any new TV shows for the past few years. I’ve heard about True Blood and thought about checking it out… is it on the Buffy end of the scale, or the Twilight end?

Boy, that all changed today, didn’t it!

Watching the extraction of the trapped Chilean miners today was a real mood lifter.
I’ve been following the story since it broke, and thrilled along with the rest of the world today at the miners’ safe rescue. Unprecedented.

Oh, and as for “market share,” I really did mean “the rest of the world.” Viewership of the rescue topped 1.2 BILLION people.

Even running at well under half of it’s original awesomiousity factor, House might still be my vote for best show on TV.

I love The Mentalist as well. Actually just Patrick Jane is all kinds of awesome.
