Whats this?

Can someone please tell me what kind of style there images would be called? And where I could learn to design this way?

Layers are the only way to create these. You’ll find that lots of these composites re-use shapes and pieces. They are basically created by layering lots of things on top of one another and changing the effects applied so that they meld. Using transparency layer effects can produce very different looking results very quickly when you have a good number of layers involved.

There are heaps of free brushes available for both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I would be more inclined to learn to create these in Illustrator than Photoshop. Better to have these in vector format.

There are lot of different brushes you can download and use to create these sort of graphics.

search for swirl or twirl brushes for photoshop I’m sure you find what you’re looking for.

I 've done some graphics like this and what I found is, you’ll most like want each brush stroke to be on a separate layer so you move, resize, color, etc. each stroke.

It’s a painstaking process, and it def takes a creative person to do so.

These are vector images. you can create this while using various shapes and brushes. Download some brushes like that and use it. for tutorial, go to youtube.com and watch videos.

Basically a combination of vector shapes in photoshop with good coloring. Check out the Photoshop tutorials at pixel2life.com, they touch up on alot of vector graphics.

They are often, but not always, vector graphics, because they are often created for print.
