There are only a handful of search engines today that will end up providing you with 98+% of your search engine traffic, and you don’t need to submit to them. Instead, you just need a few links pointing to your site from established sites, and the search engines will find you. You might want to try submitting to directories or posting a link in your signature at a forum, or posting a comment on a blog (with your url in the url box), and you’ll start to get picked up by search engines in the next couple of weeks.
