What Would You Like to Ask Paul Boag of Boagworld and Headscape?

Hey all,

On an upcoming episode of the SitePoint Podcast, we’ll be interviewing Paul Boag, co-host of the extremely popular web design and development podcast [url=http://boagworld.com]Boagworld, author of [url=http://boagworld.com/websiteownersmanual/]“Website Owner’s Manual” and Creative Director of [url=http://www.headscape.co.uk]Headscape, a UK-based web design company. In addition to serving clients, they also have created [URL=“http://www.getsignoff.com”]GetSignoff, a product aimed at helping web designers to more easily gain client approval and build better client relationships.

What should we ask Paul? Please leave us your suggestions in this thread and we may use them on the show, crediting you as we do.

Thank you for reading and for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Patrick

Excellent, I’ve spoken to Paul a few of times myself via email, it’ll be a great interview… here’s my questions.

  1. I hear he’s planning on potentially making a sort-of premium edition of Boagworld covering certain topics more extensively… does he see a more extensive future in online video and audio training for subjects like web design (especially with the likes on Lynda being so popular) and web design education being a bit slow to keep up?

  2. What’s been his web design highlight of the year in terms of all the thing’s he’s been up too lately. I know chatting to Amber and Leo on the TWiT network he sounded like he was having a lot of fun, and of course there’s the conferences and workshops he’s been doing and will be doing in the near future.

  3. The 200th episode was a massive success and a huge amount of fun listening too (though 12 hours was certainly a challenge of no small measure), what were his highlights (apart from Marcus having that successful showcase of his guitar playing while you were off having a break which of course had to be number 1).

Great questions, Alex, thanks.

Last call! Thanks.

If no-one else replies you’ll have to tell Paul I’m the only one who loves him (In a strictly listenerish sense).

How did Paul manage to find out/create the steps (or hte process) for the GetSignOff.com website? From a hesitant buyerish sort of view, how could you convince us that it works? ;).

It’s the best I got. Use if you please ;). Nighty night :x

Thank you for the questions, Alex and Ryan.

We are now closed to questions. Keep an eye out for the interview at http://www.sitepoint.com/podcast

Sincerely,

Patrick
