Hi guys,
I was wondering in terms of display and resolution on screen, should I just go ahead and buy and LCD since it’ll probably have better overall resolution? In terms on what I’ll be display? It’s technically a medical monitor, but I was hoping to use it to display interactive design, gaming graphics, Photoshop, and video. Sony is usual good for picture quality, but I use an two NEC monitors at work and those work well too. I’m having a bit of a toss up.
Does anyone Have any experience or have an opinion on this?
The two I was trying to decide between are 25 Inch Sony PVM-2551MD OLED Display or 20 Inch NEC LCD2090UXI-BK Desktop Monitor
This is not a hard choise because neither is a CRT monitor. Essentially, it is the display ratio 16:9 or 4:3 and size 24.5" or 20" that differ.
In comparizon the displays’ physical height doesn’t differ much, but the width does by inches. This and your desrciption of their uses would make me choose the 25" Sony monitor. (For programming though, the 4:3 would have a few more lines of code in view.)
