What kinds of back links are considered the most powerful?

YOu ppl use the advanced search before posting a question. Its really annoying. SP have discussed different kinds of link building(SEO) strategies before so do a search and find it.

Any type of backlink can be powerful - one coming from a very-high-ranked website can be the most powerful for your website, Links from social networks such as; Twitter, Facebook and the others can be powerful as it spreads your links to people, spiders, and the like.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean - but all I know is backlinks in its own form are very powerful - and the more you have, especially quality ones, the better you’re off.
