I’d say purchase the .com and the .ro, this way you can have a site for your country and another one for the international Romanian community
well I suppose that you should register .ro domain name as it represents your country and you will be targeting local people.
Furthermore, I would also suggest you to register international domain name .COM/.NET and setup web forwarding on .COM/.NET to get more customers.
In this way, your online identity – the domain name (.com/.net) will be also secured.
I think .com is universal domain on internet. So I would always go for .com. Though is you are targeting geographical traffic then it is good to go for CCTLD domains.
.COM domain name is the best domain name extension as for my taste.
it’s hard to near impossible to get good brandable keyword .com domains and since your market is Romania I would go with the local TLD .ro
I suppose for the online business .NET domain name could be good option as well .
.ro +.com is a must 
Many people just remember the brand name/store name and automatically add .com at the end.
