Hi all, new to making a website. This is my first one.

It’s basicly going to be a portfolio. I am a Game Programmer (studying) and I will use this site to put all my work up on.
I would like to know what you think about the layout/template.
The actual content is nothing at the moment so dont comment on the content. But font size color of the content is comments would be nice. and the color scheme and well everything about the layout.

That will never happen, not because of your design skills, but because people are cantankerous. Just get it to the point where you (and a few sensible others 
) consider it to be right.

No such thing as “not good enough for a review”. Anything but the most rudimentary site can be improved by constructive criticism and review. Post that puppy, and welcome to SitePoint!

We have a specific forum for site appraisals with certain criteria that need to be followed before your review is authorised.
I’m not keen on white on black. It makes my eyes go funny. I would suggest pulling back from pure black to something close to it. Likewise, the text could be slightly off white.
hi thanks maybe id just change the white to a light grey? but if i change the black id have to change the body background color as well…
