the brown “check out my portfolio” and the blue “want to hire me”… the background for each of those, what do you call them? Is it a banner wrap? banner corner?
Does anyone also know of any resources where I can download, or better yet if they are good quality ones, purchase a set of them?
Thanks!
I wouldn’t get too caught up in names.
When you push someone to perform an action (such as “checking out my portfolio” or “wanting to hire me?”) it’s sometimes known as a “Call to Action” button/banner.
Aaron,
I know what a CTA is
I was talking about the backgrounds each of those texts are on.
It’s a vector that sits on the side of the div and wraps around a little. What is THAT called? A banner wrap? A ribbon?
Looking for high quality ones I can download or purchase.
Cheers
The term I see for those is usually 3d ribbon. I don’t think I’ve seen any sites that actually sell those since most usually create them using only CSS or create the graphics from scratch specifically for their site.
I did a quick search and was able to find the following site, however, with a set you can license. Not sure how close it is to what you want.
