We're soon retiring the old AdSense interface

Hi,

Since releasing the new AdSense interface to all publishers, we’ve been continuously working to improve and support the new version. With that in mind, we’re writing to let you know that we’ll soon be retiring the old AdSense interface and asking all publishers to use the new interface.

If you haven’t already, we recommend switching to the new interface as soon as possible to familiarize yourself with the updated layout and new features. To do so, sign in and click the ‘Try the new AdSense interface’ link in the upper corner of your account. We understand that this adjustment may take some time, so you’ll still be able to toggle back and forth between the old and new interfaces during the coming weeks. You’ll see another notification in your account as we approach the date when this option will no longer be available.

As a reminder, the new AdSense interface offers additional insights in the form of detailed graphs and reports, new ad blocking controls, and increased efficiency through a visual redesign. We’ve now added many of your top-requested features – including the ability to create scheduled reports and view channels on the Home tab. We encourage you to watch our video tutorials at http://www.youtube.com/user/InsideAdSense#g/c/B067D355E59D96E0, which will guide you through completing common tasks in your account. You can also find detailed information in our Help Center for the new interface (http://www.google.com/adsense/support/as/).

With this transition, we’ll be able to focus on building new and improved features into the new interface more quickly. Thank you for your support, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

personally i like the old interface, what about you?

:frowning: i love old interface. the old interfaace more smart and working with it for 4 years. when google first introduced the new interface i just took a look and then forgot it.

i feel the old one is easier to manage the new ones looks complicated.

I only started with AdSense when the new interface was in beta so I have been using that one since I started…it’s not too bad! But I never used the old one.

Old one was better to manage, but for me as long as they keep up payments I haven’t got a problem ;)!

To get the info I wanted from the old interface was two mouse clicks.

I finally figured out how to get the same info from the new interface and it is six mouse clicks.

That makes the old interface at least three times better than the new one. Might be time to start looking for alternative ad networks that don’t introduce more difficult to use interfaces.

Using it over the past week or so, I am beginning to discover quicker ways to do things and starting to know my way around the things I need just as well as the old interface.

true but the old interface is much better for mobile users. I have the old Nokia E90 and I really have to use my computer to check detailed stats.

google need to wait alittle bit before they retire the old interface, they need to imrove the mobile version of the new interface. it still in beta

oh no
This interface will be retired in mid-November. Please switch to the new AdSense interface today.

Old Interface was very Nice and easy to Navigate for me…The new one is very difficult :frowning:

I will continue using the old interface for as long as it is still available because it is so much simpler to use for what I want than the new one. Might have to rethink which ad services I use when the new non-interface is the only option.

the new one track less impressions.

It seems insane to switch ad networks because you don’t like an interface.

Also having used it for a few weeks now, I like it better than the old, I’ve found how to pull up the same reports in the same amount of time or less. Plus I am really like the visual graphs.

It isn’t a matter of like or dislike - it is a matter or works and doesn’t work. The new interface (like several Google products released in recent years) doesn’t work.

If I can’t see how effective the advertising is then changing to a network where I can see it is the obvious solution.

Perhaps Google should consider hiring some proper web developers who know how to test web pages properly. Some who know JavaScript would also be useful since it appears that Google doesn’t have any programmers who can write proper JavaScript.

for some of the sites i manage, i’m making way much more with adsense than with other networks so i’m not leaving but hopefully they will iprove the new one
