From what I see everyone is doing some variation of a corporate one pager - with the big picture at the top, then 3 icons, then testimonials etc’ nothing new and exciting.
The latest trend which I think will take over the internet (don’t quote me on this) are bootstrap blocks, landing pages with the following sections as standard:
“Hello”
“have you seen our works”
“we are social”
“meet the team”
“we would love to hear from you”
Maybe in 2017 the industry will starting showing more creativity, mix things up
“Welcome”
“You got to see our works”
“lets get social”
“aren’t our team pretty”
“say hello”
I might be a bit late in my thinking but parralax websites seemed to be becoming the norm, but that might have been more like 2015 and i’m just catching up. So many websites seem to be large panels and a small amount of text, mostly on one ‘page’.
There’s only one thing I’m desperately hoping for - no more Flash, ever! For example, I can’t believe Spotify still require Flash for their web player…
There are many things actually. One of the major one is the Motion UI, Internet of Things or IoT, Browser based IDEs, Full-screen navigation, Multiple platform responsiveness & Cloud computing integration. Real-time analytics helps you out from facing troubled issues. Ad blocks & Pop-ups are also coming up these days. Search the internet thoroughly and check out the contents that can be effective & useful for you.
