Web Apps v/s Hybrid Apps

Hi friends,

As we all know the major difference between Web app and Hybrid app is that Web App is just HTML(web pages) that are made to support different screen sizes as well on the other hand Hybrid Apps are blend of Web and native apps to use native features of device.

I have a doubt, in case if we only use HTML5 web page and package it to make an app using frameworks like phonegap/ionic and doesn’t use any native feature or any cordova plugin. Will it still be considered as a Hybrid app ?

I think yes, It will still be considered as a Hybrid app

I think so too - the fact that you’re creating a standalone app should be enough for it to be considered Hybrid.
