Vprot.exe virus?

This thing is eating my memory how can i get it out in my system? Help!!

Well, I would point out the obvious and I would say use an antivirus. You can try an online one if you don’t have anything installed on your computer. I don’t know, www.pandasoftware.com has their own and it is free to use

I’m seeing on Microsoft’s website that it could be a virus masking itself as an AVG process (called ‘vprot.exe’). If you don’t have AVG installed, then chances are good that it really is a virus and you may want to proceed with rebooting in safe mode, finding and removing the file. Follow my advice at your own discretion though, because it could be ill-advised to just go deleting processes from your system like that.

it’s not a virus, you can uninstall AVG to see that, and can replace AVG by Avast, very safe and high performance

No., it’s not Virus. vprot.exe is also called Vprotect application is a part of AVG Toolbar. You can remove it by Uninstall the AVG Security as @Slaleader suggested / adviced
