I’ve been searching & searching for something equivalent to ‘FancyBox’ only for videos so I decided to ask As my results were not quite what I was after.
I prefer to have it as a WordPress Addon if I so happen want to stop using it it’s not embedded into the code as you would expect with a web page.
FancyBox only does SWF not FLV, or H.264 or QT
You can put your FLV, H.264 or QT video in a div and use the inline Fancybox. Or put the video on a blank webpage and use the iframe/ajax actions. Fancybox can make a modal window out of anything.
Well I created a pure CSS lightbox example (with a bit of scripting for IE’s lack of CSS3 support) that works with images, content and videos:

Might be useful, otherwise there’s plenty of lightbox solutions out there to pick between.
It’s nice but does not operate exactly how ‘fancybox’ does
Thank you, I’ll take a look at the matrix
I love FancyBox hopefully I find something almost identical only for videos and as a WP - addon
Take a look at the lightbox clones matrix

Why do you not use Fancybox for the videos?
