Vbulletin vs wordpress blog?

Can anyone compare vbulletin blog and wordpress blog?

I have not use vbulletin blog, but I use wordpress blog. And I like use it, because you can do what you want for your wordpress blog. It is very good

I guess you guys are behind on the times. vBulletin has had a blog system included since late November 2009.

I’ve been running vBulletin for 4 years on my forum and I’ve used Wordpress as my blog. Trying to figure out what to do with it now that I have vB4 with the CMS and blogging system is a bit tricky. If I was starting a brand new site, I’d just run vB4 and call it a day. Pretty much everything I can think of has already been taken care of.

the vbulletin blog feature isnt as easy to use as the wordpress. besides, wordpress has all the best templates.

Interesting. Using the blog for me was identical to using a vb forum…kinda like what we are doing right now.

As for the templates, that’s part of the problem. I have to come up with two different templates: one for vbulletin, one for wordpress. With the vBulletin blog system, I only need one.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m still not completely sold on this whole vbulletin blog thing. I just find it interesting that a lot of the things I consider to be strengths, others consider to be weaknesses. I guess it takes all kinds…or…it takes two to tango. I forget!:eye:

vBulletin is a forum - not a blog.

if you want to build forum site, you can use vbulletin, if you want to create blog site you can use wordpress. both has good ranking in search engines especially in Google.

There’s no way to compare them, since both platforms are for different uses.
Vbulletin is an excellent forum platform, and Wp is great for blogging.
