Validating PDF documents

Is there a tool a bit more accurate and comprehensive to check PDF documents for Section 508 color contrast accessibility? CAA (Color Contract Analyzer) is used but it is not the greatest. I learned it is actually an open source program rather than one that has industry complaint resources and credibility. I would like to know if there are better alternatives my team should try. Thanks.

Thanks for the input. I am familiar with that as that i my person goto. But I am trying to see if there is anything else out there working with PDF documents.
