Using a google map in a light box over top of a flash site

Hi all,
I don’t know how easy it will be to understand my issue. I have added a link above a site that was designed in flash. Basically, before the SWF file, I created a style and added a button that opens up a google map in a ligthbox. However, in IE, there are sections of the google map which are not filled in…and you can see part of the flash site behind it. Does this make any sense to anyone? It is fine in FF and Safari, but not IE.

It could be a wmode or z-index issue. Is this IE 6, 7, 8? Do you have a link to the page in question.

In flash before being able to use z-index to control the overlapping order, you have to add wmode=transparent or wmode=opaque
