Updating Site with RSS Feed

In laymen’s terms as I am a novice, how can have my rss feed automatically update a page of my site without having to manually update the page? What do I need to do to make this happen. Thanks.

Normally an RSS page is automatically updated by your content management software (such as WordPress etc.). If the site is static (that is, just HTML, CSS etc) then you’ll have to update the RSS page manually.

You could also write some PHP scripts just for updating the RSS feed, but that’s getting a bit heavy duty. Do you have any experience in that area?

Thank you for your response. I am not trying to update the RSS feed automatically. I am trying to have the items I input within the RSS feed automatically update the news page of my site. My site is in php. All I have is limited knowledge of basic html code.

Hmmm. Anyone know of some good cut-paste-and-drop-in solutions?

Thank you for your responses. I thought that there was an easy way to do this but I guess not. I will just manually update my site.

Rss feed will improvise the site crawling in search engines.
