I hardly ever visit SP anymore and as a result have lost contact with Datura; is she still here?
I haven’t seen her posting around these parts of SPF lately, but her profile says she was last active just an hour ago, so she must be around
How have you been yourself, Chris?
I haven’t seen her myself for a year or more - she just suddenly disappeared or something…
She was pretty busy with work and she step down for staff from that reason. She comes here now and then but it has been a long time since I last “saw” her.
But, yep, I miss her… she always had something interesting to say, it didn’t matter if you agreed with her or not. It was great simply to read her posts.
Busy, busy, busy, mostly stuff for the Olympics. Somebody told me there was a recession but we seem to have got busier than ever. How are things with you.
She is a wonderful lady that doesn’t take prisoners; some people can’t handle that but I love the way she calls a spade a spade.
There are dozens of us who thanks to her generosity with her time and her patience learned an awful lot about graphics under her tutelage.
I agree with you. She is fantastic.
I’m glad that you’re doing well and to see you around these areas
Same here as far as recession, the business is up at least by 5 fold since it was announced. What could have possibly gone on if there were no recession, I’m afraid to think.
What are you doing for the Olympics? Sounds exciting.
Great to hear you’re doing really well. I wouldn’t say what we are doing is exciting but it’s certainly challenging; mostly back office stuff. You know the sort of thing; **** up the simplest thing in the original architecture and it’s back to square one. (guaranteed to turn your brain to mush :injured:)
Just having a search around and it looks like Paul isn’t active either, I wonder why?
My the filters are sensitive all I said was male Chicken
Helps if you remember the right name; I meant Andy
Again, real life brought him back from the digital world to the real one. He got married and busy with his own business which started to boom
Glad that you don’t notice the crisis. In Spain is terrible… and Madrid is supposed to be the least affected!
But they say that when there’s crisis, there’s opportunities.

She’s well, just very busy. I got an e-mail from her last week. Both her and her husband are fine, and she’s working on things that got neglected while she was learning programming and spending time with us on Sitepoint.
By the way mobyme, haven’t seen your around yourself. Good to see that alien face thing again.
