Types of Online Marketing

I am researching on the types of on-line marketing or internet marketing. Unfortunately the resources on this forum were limited.

It’s all very confusing, everybody is grouping things differently, even in site point. On-line Marketing according to wiki includes SEO and SMO.

Personally I thought on-line marketing was PPC, PPA, Affiliate, Email Marketing (including spammers) and that was about it.

There is so much stuff to learn on online marketing, and there is so little time to learn them. If anybody can correct me, you would really help my situation on understanding things.

Also, submitting to sites that list other sites. Directories are common, but there’s better ways.

Yep… I read up on that. I shall not be doing any of that kind of marketing.

what’s your take on http://www.seomoz.org, I checked it out and it makes word tracker very cheap in comparison.

you forgot social marketing, seo. there could be more.

when you start its better go one by one and learn it well. eventually you will learn it.
you may wanna read the google seo guide as well.

Thanks, but is that not all part of SMO. I guess SMO is part of Online Marketing.
