Trouble using logical AND &&

I don’t understand what’s wrong with my use of && here. This is a validation script to make sure the input in the three date fields are all numeric and within correct ranges of digits. (This is just to test the correct use of && and is not being used in production.)

	if(is_numeric ($month)) && is_numeric ($day) && is_numeric ($year))
		if(checkdate ($month, $day, $year)){ // true if within ranges
		print "<br>Date format is correct: " . $month . "/" . $day . "/" . $year;
		} else {
		print "<br>Date format is NOT correct: " . $month . "/" . $day . "/" . $year;

I’m getting the error…

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '&&' (T_BOOLEAN_AND) in C:\\wamp\\www\\index2.php on line 112

…for the line containing &&. What is wrong with my syntax?

You have an extra ) that you need to delete, highlighted in red below:

if(is_numeric ($month)) && is_numeric ($day) && is_numeric ($year))

Thank you!!
