Trouble selecting tooltip content

Hi there,

I am wanting to style the .content div in this tooltip:

<p class="price tooltip-title item" data-toggle="tooltip" data-placement="top" data-container="body" data-html="true" title="" data-original-title="
                            <div class='title'><span>Title:</span></div>
                            <div class='content'>
                            <span>content here</span>
                            </div>
                            ">
                   Text</p>

I’ve tried this, but it doesn’t seem to effect it:

p.item .content{

background: #ff0000!important

}

Any ideas?

Thanks

What does Inspect say it’s getting its background from?

You can’t nest <div>s in <p> tags.

Or more pertinent, HTML tags inside a tag attribute value?

How would you suggest nesting teh

tags? Maybe ?

Have you considered taking a formal course in HTML and CSS fundamentals?
