I’m hearing from people that if you use a Wordpress Plugin or something to translate your blog into multiple languages it can really boost your search engine traffic. Is this true? And if so, which Wordpress Plugin do people recommend?
I would assume more pages with different content would help as well as your target market would increase but the question is how well would the plugin translate the text? It’s still pretty noticeable when a program has translated the text and not human translation…
Well I would assume that these plugins wouldn’t translate the text 100% correctly because it would be translation from a machine…so the question would be is it worth it?
I think but at the end of day it will help a lot so it is better to have multiple pages for multiple language for better result in search engine.
That’s what I would imagine - people searching for pages in Spanish (for example) are more likely to find your site if it has a Spanish translation already on it. But I very much doubt it would make any significant difference to people searching in your main language.
I think the basic concept is more the pages more chances to come if you have multilingual content it will be prefrenced in there respective language search engine.
well in a way that anyone can visit and read your site is a good thing… but i don’t think that much of a big thing…
