Transfer policy?

ok I sold my first website on Flippa:
http://flippa.com/auctions/96464/RoseBushCareTips-Com-Quality-Traffic-Quality-Content-Custom-Design-Ebook

And in the listing I state:
BIN gets 1 year free hosting. For the winner I will download and zip up all the data and site files as well as database. I can help to move the site for a small fee. BIN Gets free site move, if needed.

Well the site sold for $60, not BIN. and the buyer has sent me all his info for his hosting account, his adsense account and all this other stuff, I think he is expecting me to move the site which I am not.

Is it typical for sellers to move the site? I would think not unless stated.

My intent was to download, zip all up, put on my server for him to download, and transfer the domain to him. He would have to do the work of transferring adsense numbers, amazon IDs, all that stuff.

Any insite would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Larry

Larry - if you didn’t state that you’d move the website in your listing - or if you stated that you would move the site only if the buyer paid the BIN, then you are not obliged to move the site.

I did state this in the auction.

I buy sites all the time and I never expect the seller to move them. Did you mention this in the listing or when you discussed the sale with the buyer?

I can help to move the site for a small fee. BIN Gets free site move, if needed.

Let him know how much the “small fee” is going to be and see what he says.
