Here is the situation, I had an adwords account and is linked to a google analytics reports, and I know wich keyword convert better, but here is my question that my bosses are asking me, since i’m new to all this seo and online marketing world I don’t know if can be done and here is:
There is a way that I can track or associate a keyword used by a person when search for example in google get to my website and fill out a sign-up form or a schedule a webinar form in my side, it would be something like that Jhon Q search in google for my business using “example keyword” and found my link on the first page or a adword advertise and then click and get to my website and fill out a schedule a webinar form (from that prospect i would like to know this: Jhon Q Prospect - Keyword: “example keyword” - visit this specific page ) . If someone can point me to the right direction, i would appreciate it very much.
What i wanted to say was: how can i track wich keyword a person used to complete a form on my website when they use a search engine or in my case an adword advertise.
Google Analytic tracks a lot of statistics, but I don’t see they are able to track who completes the form. They only track which keywords they search that end up in your site.
At that time, the best i used is a form that capture the keyword the people are using, is a little bit rudimentary but it works at that time, for that particular scenario.
