Too many users are connected

Hi,
I’m using FileZilla. When I try to connect to my site I get “421 Too many users are connected, please try again later. Could not connect to the server”. I keep trying throughout the day but always receive this message.

Is this something the server administrator needs to fix on his side, or is there a setting on my FTP program (i.e. FileZilla) I should be changing? Have tried changing the Transfer Settings but still get the error.

You’ll need to contact the server administrator. It seems the max allowed number of connections is set very low for the FTP server.

Admins will setup limits to control server resources, this is just a part of it i hope. :slight_smile:

Maybe you got banned on this host ? How long is delay between attempts for connections ?
