Just wondering if too many pages are bad. As an traditional and digital artist I have around 80 images that means 80 pages with quotes under the images. I am not sure what it will effect. I am not sure if there are short cuts for example 20 images per a page so that mean 4 pages for 80 images. Will it save time or not? Please advise me.
It will save time if you choose to have a few images per page. Typically many artistic type sites will have several page of smaller thumbnail image gallery, which will link to larger higher quality images.
Thus allowing faster download and less time clicking and having to wait to see what comes next…
Very few people would want to go through 80 pages of images but may be happy looking at 80 image thumbnails and selecting they ones they like best to view.
Also can use a JavaScript slider / carousel or other display goodie.
Yes, I have 20 small thumbnail images 50px x 50px on the left but area on the right for big image 420px x 420px. So it is possible to go over the thumbnail images and it will change the big image on the right and under the image 4 to 6 lines of text. If it possible can you point where I can get the code for it please? Any suggestions is welcome.
Do you mean hover over the thumbnail images or click on them?
Yes, I mean both hover and click which is the best. I think I am leading more toward hover. I also realized that I need to think about tablets like iPad 2 etc, not everyone will use a computer to view my work.

I would say go for a gallery that changes images when you click the thumbnails. Then it works on all platforms. May favorite gallery is slimbox2.

Lightbox is the original, so far as I know, and Fancybox is also similar.
