Hello developers and web entrepreneurs, I’m starting the early processes of planning a website for a client. It’s kind of unofficial, I just want to get some feel for how I’d go about it, and i’m approaching that very initial point - gathering their existing content to organize their site structure (sitemap, content, media, etc.)
Now I used to call this just my “analysis” phase last year when I first got started doing web design, but I know there is an appropriate title for this practice of gathering existing information from a client to reiterate into a new design, it’s simply eluding me. Does anyone happen to know it from memory?
