Thinking about getting a server

Hiya

I’m considering getting a dedicated server, in fact been thinking about it for years! I have had a VPS and currently have a reseller account. so know my way roughly around WHM and well around CPanel.

I think I’m ready to take the plunge. Have chosen my host (one I’m with now) and which package, just got to contact them to see what sort of deal they will cut me.

Anybody got any advice for me?

Well - what type of dedicated server are you looking for?
A costly one, or one that’s better than your VPS?
Also - what server specs are you currently looking for?

How do the specs of the dedicated compare to that of your current VPS (assuming you are replacing one with the other).

Do they offer any simple migration?

Can your new dedicated server be upgraded if needs be? More drive, More RAM?
