The best search engine optimization strategy is

Hello,

I have learned a lot lately from this forum about the tips of how to do the SEO to index well on major search engines. What I have learned the tips and applied them to my sites and blogs are link building (web directy and article directory submission), social bookmarking submission, etc.

So, what is the best search engine optimization strategy?

Do I still miss anything? (from what I have been currently using so far of non-paid marketing strategies)

Any tip is appreciated.

Thanks very much.

Build a site people love so much that they will return to your site again and again and again, and tell their friends and naturally create links to your site. This is always the best strategy. Everything else is minor in comparison.

There should be a different SEO strategy for every website.
The best strategy depends upon the following points.

1- You need to do onpage optimization according to your business.
2- Need to manage the off page strategy according to your business.

If you want to know about the best search engine optimization strategy for your website, just compare your website with your competitor’s website.

Totally agree with this one. Nothing can be organic backlinks and traffic from bookmarkers.

I would take most of what you read on this forum with a pinch of salt. Some of the things that you mentioned will be a complete waste of time. Directory links and article links will not help you compete.

Looking at your signature I think it fair to say that you are in a fairly competitive market and to compete you will need to develop high quality links. Free for all links simply aren’t worth the effort. You might not have to pay for them directly but when you take into account your opportunity cost (your time) you will see that’s not the case.

Yeah best way is to create a good quailty site and get links because people love it, but then you need to get your site seen, so using some of the low tier techniques isn’t a bad idea at first.

Using low end tactics won’t get your site seen. They either work or they don’t.

You hear it said a lot “build a great site” but that’s only half of the battle. You have to get it infron of people. I have seen a lot of great sites fail and a lot of ok sites succeed. What sets them apart is the owner or SEO’s ability to market that site.
