The light brown bg image has a very interesting texture. How would you achieve similar effects (not as in: “exactly like that”, rather “in that spirit”).
All I know to do so far is to noisify my backgrounds… which gets pretty boring.

With Photoshop, find a photograph of a similar texture place it in a lyer on the top of the solid color (color of your choice) layer and set the blend mode of the texture to “overlay” or pin light or any mode you prefer!
