SVN issue

hey folks,
i don’t know where to post this but i m posting where i thought is right.couple of days back the admin guy who controls the svn version control on server did some screw up which disturbed my css and somehow that activity isn’t showing in ‘show revision’, good news is that i have access to server as i been in my office long before him. now i know he did something coz he did these deleted thing with a huge database and gotten away with this but with my a** on the line i can’t let a fool jeopardize my job. so anyone can tell me if someone has deleted their log entry. is there any other log file like hidden files log created so i can catch the culprit?

no one admit his mistake especially when your working on a massive project and css control everything. as for question’s answer. yes its apache running behind scenes

My experience on massive projects is it tends to be human error – such as the designers not using SVN properly – rather than administrative malfeasance that causes version control issues.

Anyhow, you should be able to see what is going in in the apache logs. Or at least check access. Now, he could have come in a few other ways so it isn’t foolproof . …

Have you tried asking him nicely about it? Might have been an honest or unknown mistake. Its pretty tricky to do something to SVN that doesn’t show in the SVN log.

As for your question, it really depends, is the svn server running over HTTP (ie–behind apache)?
