What does “flat look” mean? Do you have an example of what you want through another graphics program for example.

Hi Rubble

Here are a few examples…http://webdesignledger.com/tips/the-flat-design-era

In your website use white boxes, and a white border for portfolio images, also the lightbox should have square white borders.

I have changed to a black border since the background color doesnt blend well with white…pls check and suggest.

I guess a flat design is using solid colors without any graphical elements using color gradients.

I would say your design is flat since it uses solid colors only. I don’t think it’s very attractive though.

One major problem that stands out is your page titles are too close to the top. You need a larger margin there.

Thanks and do u have any suggestions for the color schemes and portfolio images?

I don’t like the dark grey, i think the page background would look better with a lighter grey colour. The way the portfolio images are aligned looks fine.

I have changed the background color and several other features…Please take a look…

We seem to be drifting away from the original issue, and more into the realms of a site review, which belongs in the Review Forum. Feel free to post again there; meanwhile, I’m closing this thread.
