There are only 3 major search engines (as of today, 2 actually, since Bing will be powering Yahoo!), so pasting their URL into 3 forms should not require any automation.
There is really no need to submit anyone’s website to any search engine. As long as there is a link to the site somewhere, the site will be found. Companies that sell bulk search submission services are preying upon the non-technical folk that don’t know there is zero value to this service.
Just being indexed does not mean you will find that company’s site when you search for them. Not unless they have a name consisting of primarily unique words.
