Stange font behavior in IE 11

Greetings,

I’m hoping someone might be able to help me with this perplexing issue.

I have a wordpress site at http://www.fio-con.com/Z8jB9e66q/

When I look at it in IE 11 - The navigation should display using the “Lato” font - but it shows up Times New Roman.

I’ve tried to zero in on the element using the F12 tool in IE - but as soon as I launch that tool. The font changes to what it’s suppose to be!? Not sure how to troubleshoot using this tool when it renders correctly. when I close the tool and refresh, back to the times new roman font.

I checked in with the theme developer and they claim they fixed the issue, but it still doesn’t work for me. I emptied my cache and tried it on 3 other PC’s all with the same result.

Also, the navigation has drop-downs, if you mouse over the top level navigation the sub menus DO render the proper font.

I hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance for any help.

Its probably this rule at line 250 in style-custom.css.

#nav .navbar .nav > li > a {
   font-family:  !important;
}

That will most likely reset the font to some other default. Remove that rule and see what happens.

That fixed the problem! Thank you so much!
