Square Space vs. Tumblr

What do you think about SquareSpace? Web design isn’t something I’m interested in pursuing, although I did build this website: brysonprice.com. I’m much more interested in spending my time producing tracks. My current website is not easy to update. What do you think about SquareSpace? I’ve heard that it’s very easy to build/update these sites. I’ve also heard Tumblr is easy to update. What are your thoughts? Enlighten me! : )

Tumblr is easy.

Tumblr seems to be just a one-page blog system, from what I can see, while Squarespace is a fully-fledged website platform, so the comparison is chalk and cheese, really. I’d definitely say go for Squarespace. It’s a good option for what you are trying to do.

But you have to pay for Squarespace monthly, no? And number of templates for it is restricted :frowning:

But you have to pay for hosting monthly with any website, so it doesn’t make much difference. $8/mo is pretty cheap for web hosting, which is their entry rate, and you get a lot for that $8.

Well, only if you choose to use out of the box templates. But you can also create your own if you are a web designer.

Just saying. I’m not an advocate for Squarespace or anything, but it is certainly an option worth consdering.
