Source code

how i will see the source code of my page . i made the html doc in the notepad saved in the .html form after opening the page with either browser there isno option for source code

In most browsers, in the menu at the top left, you can click View > Source or similar. If that doesn’t help, google " how to view source in [insert your browser here]?"

Most desktop browsers also have developer tools. Right click anywhere on the page and choose Inspect Element and you’ll see everything under the hooligan, including the HTML and CSS.

In FireFox I just use Ctrl+U to display the page source. Other browsers should have a key combination to display the source code

Yeah, I was going to mention keystrokes, but decided to keep it simple. But that’s how I normally do it too, though each browser seems to have its own keys. On Firefox Mac it’s Command + u, but for Chrome Mac it’s Command + Option + u.

I wonder why those two browsers use a different key combination on Mac when they both use the same key combination on Windows?

Yes, it seems crazy not to have consistency like that. When I switched from Firefox to Chrome, it took me quite a while to get used to the change, and was quite annoying, as I use this all through the day, but the Firefox keystroke was pretty engrained for me.

You can easily see the coding of the page. Just right click on the icon where you saved your coding and select open with notepad to see the coding. In this way you can see as well as edit your code.
or when you open your page on browser just press ctrl+u to see the coding. but you cannot edit it.

for all i get many way to see page code Thanks Again
