Sort search results by date?

I’d love to be able to sort my forum (and global) search results by date. A tech answer from 2004 is quite often not valid and so I often find myself looking at result after result after result, trying to find the most recent and therefore most relevant one.

Pretty please?

What forum software (is it vBulletin?) and what version do you have in use?

I mean this forum, the SitePoint one.
