I like to loop through the codepen trending pages from time to time because it’s always nice to see innovations and things that can be done. Sometimes I pick up something useful that I…appropriate…for work I’m doing.
But sometimes I see things that are in reality useless but just freakin’ cool. This is one of those times…thought I’d share it here so others can see what can be done with just a little bit or markup and a ton of funky css.
Yes that is cool 
It use the experimental @property rule so only works in Chrome (but I’m guessing could be made to work without it although I haven’t delved too deeply into the code).
These kinds of demos are great fun and good for testing out new properties to see what can be done.
Star Wars fans would love to put something like this on their sites!
