Someone help me to remove coment or reply form from my posts

Hi
I have a wordpress blog hosted with hostgator but i do not need the reply or post coment at the end of all my posts and pages. can some one help me on how to remove it.

Log in to your WordPress admin area. Locate and click on settings. Locate and click on Discussion. The first item is Default Article Settings.

I think that is where you want to make the changes.

You can do what CSU suggested, turn off comments per post/page, or edit the theme to not show comments and the form.

Simply go to the Setting page, fropm there find Discussion, then uncheck “Allow people to post comments on new articles”. Unchecking applies to new posts that you will publish from now on.

If you want to remove all the comments from the existing posts, then go the Posts >select all comments and “Edit” under bulk actions and hit apply > choose “do not allow” next to comments and hit update posts.
