Social Media marketing help

Hi,
I am looking for promoting my website thru social media marketing.

Can anyone suggest the parameters I should consider while selecting a social media marketing agency.?

Also how do you measure the effectiveness of a social media marketing campaign. ?

Is it possible to ask the agencies to quantify their quote for a social media marketing campaign and how can that be done?

regards,

i think you can do promotion by your’e self …
online and offline is good solution to do promotion as well…
if you do online : mybe you must choice do follow social bookmarking / networking…
and if you used offline : better you must promote with put advertaisment in newspaper, TV, and many more media offline …i think you must do advertaisment agency to do …

Thanks

Social media is really easy to do so I suggest your try doing it yourself because it can save you a lot of money

And if you think you are not successful in doing it by yourself then it’s time to hire someone to do the job for you.

good choice…do it

Contrary to what others have suggested there are many good agencies out there and sometimes it’s a good idea to work with one, even if only to launch a campaign and build it up. Of course there’s a minimum threshold for an agency to be useful – below 5 or 10k it’s just not likely you’ll get enough time for big results and should consider consultants or “extra” arms more than a team.

There are a lot of questions you should think about when selecting an agency. First you want to be sure they have the right backing, team size and client experience to fit you needs, afterall if it’s a huge shop that does beauty and you sell action sports, they probably won’t fit.

Next you want to look at their service range. Social is a big category and some companies are more about the pr side than the network. Where do you fit? What do you want?

Strategy vs execution is also very important. Again firms differ – some want to tell you what to do and talk about big research, big customer impact, while others are much more tactical but may not have the same big picture ideas and suggestions.

Once you have a few agencies highlighted talk about their typical engagement. Are you a large client for them or a small one? Who will you work with day to day? How much time do you actually get from the team… the management… in reporting.

As far as measuring, social isn’t about the immediate sale so that shouldn’t be the metric but you can look at conversations, placements, postings, social network growth and other primary stats that show influence and awareness changes.

There is a term IN SMM video marketing don’t forget to apply this. That’s very useful

What kind of website do you have? (a product or informative) What are your expectations?(wider range or local). So you need to ask these questions before you look after the questions you had asked. As suggested by our fellow dudes, you can either choose a company or do it by yourself when you are clear about your needs!
