Is ping.fm site avail?? Do anyone knows websites similar to ping.fm?

I found hellotxt.com similar to ping.fm.
But, the issue is that I could not validate my API.
Have anyone experienced this? How to use hellotxt for my submissions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can use Indenti.ca its a great microblogging site. There are hundreds of thousands of people are using it. Or you can use Tumblr. It’s a free blog kind of like wordpress but much simpler. The difference though is that you can “tumble” someones post kind of like a retweet. It makes the posts go viral and sends tons of traffic.
