Shutting down a website

I don’t know if this is the correct section or not but…

I’d like to know how to completely shut down a website. As in delete it from the face of the earth. I’d like to know how to do this without any kind of programs, but if I have to. What are some safe to download programs I can use for this?

It isn’t possible - cached copies of at least some of the web pages will exist forever.

All you can do is to delete the copy on the original site.

@felgall is right. A permanent removal everywhere is pretty much impossible. The best you can do is remove the content from the server it’s hosted on, and get in touch with your ISP/domain registrar to get rid of the MX record pointing to the domain name. Over time, references to the site should sink in the search engine records, but there is always likely to be a copy of your content archived somewhere else, that could possibly come up as the first result in a search - not actually likely, but it could happen.
