If your links are that shaky that being away for a couple of weeks impacts on your ranking, you’ve got serious issues with the work that you are doing! While SEO is not a case of “build once then leave forever”, and doesn’t need continual work, that doesn’t have to be every day, every week, maybe not even every month depending on how competitive your niche is.
I’m with Stevie…
You may actually see a boast in ranking… (There is some reference to suggest Google will almost neg seo for new links, and if they are still there on the next crawl it will lift the penalty)
Also it stands to reason that if your having to constantly build new links, at least some of these wont be of good quality. You may get to a stage where new links will actually lower your Serps even if they are not spam.
If you’re spending that amount of time on “keywords” then all I can say is to stop altogether, read our FAQ and to reevaluate what you do for SEO.
