Setting up a reseller account - do I need a limted company?

Hi Folks,

Just after some basic advice, never done anything like this before.

Im thinking about setting up a reseller account with my online payment company, so I can get a % of all transactions through my clients online.

To sign up it asks me for a company name, does this mean I have to setup a ltd company?

Does anyone knoe the best way to go about this?

Unlikely. I would assume they are simply referring to your trading name/business name, if you have one that is.

Seems the best way to find out what to put there is to ask them directly.

Depending on who it is, they may want to see a vendors’ permit. / business license. Unlikely, though.
