Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
I am making a website for an event that is selling 1000 tickets… Ticketmaster takes way too much $ for service fees, so we want to avoid that.
Any other suggestions as far as sites that do something similar?
What country? I’ve got a few clients whoc use http://www.wegottickets.com/ but that caters for the UK. Saying that ticket vendors like to take a their cut!
Have you considered selling tickets directly through your own site?

yes I did a web search but wanted someone who has experience with any of those sites…
We are linking them through the website but not “on” the website. And we are US based.
i do realize they all take their cut but just wanted something a little less than ticketmaster
