hello to all
I want to know that the serp result of Google and other search engine are same or different on the desktop and mobile?
Just a simple answer.
SERP results are always different for each search engine because every search engine SERP algo is different from each others.
The simple answer is Yes. The SERPs will usually be different. In fact, they are often different between different desktop machines, and between different mobile devices. And they are nearly always different for different users.
Let me demonstrate. I’ve just searched in Google for “Internet Explorer security update” (without the quotes). On my desktop computer (running Firefox), the top six results are as follows:
Microsoft Support
CTV News
CBS News
Huffington Post
Technet
Engadget
on my Android tablet (running Chrome):
The Guardian
BBC News
Voice of America
Microsoft Windows Update
Technet
Engadget
Now, if you run that same search, my bet is that your results would be different from either of the above.
Thhat’s true, but it does not answer his question. He wanted to know if the results would be different between mobile and desktop machines, not between different search engines.

SERP result of Google search engines are definitely different.
e.g: google.com that based on U.S cities, google.com which based on your country, google.ca, google.co.uk, google.com.sg, google.co.in, etc.
And it depends on your Search history.
Say for example,
You use your mobile while on the road looking for automobile restoration parts.
You use your desktop to develop browser plugins.
If you search for “chrome” your mobile will prefer car bumpers in the results and your desktop will prefer the browser.
Remember, Google is all about giving the best results it can in answer to a user’s queries. It uses your Search history to tailor the results shown to what it thinks you’re most likely looking for.
That’s correct. And there are other factors too that affect the results (such as your geographic location at the time you do the search).
It’s also likely that the SERPs will favour mobile-optimised sites when run from a mobile device.
Mike
SERP result is definitly different because different Search Engines use different algorithms, your web-site will never have same position in different search engines, no matter how optimized it is.

This has already been stated, and it has also been pointed out that, while true, it is not what the OP is asking.
