I’m a web designer so usually deal with setting up the websites but I would like to know more about the SEO services that are offered to the clients of these companies to see if its something I would want to consider doing. How is the pricing done for these type of services? What are the services offered and how long does it take to see results?

Every company has different pricings. There are different services available for increasing PR, generating traffic and so on. One of the important services is link building services that can be done depends on the target and so the effort will be varied and so the cost price too. We cannot predict the result exactly but can surely give good result if the seo techniques were applied without flaw.

Is there a list of some of the services the companies offer? I’m trying to try this out on some of my own websites to see how it works before I consider offering it as a service

Don’t hire any SEO firms, it isn’t effective. These companies have no real insight, just build the best site that you can and SEO will come organically if it comes at all.

There’s no magic rules. Build a site that does what you do well, that is authoritative in its field, and is helpful to customers.

before quoting prices need to know how much approx work hour you will be require to do the job. For proper analysis you need to have good experience on SEO, otherwise the whole job will get messed up.

Every Company have diffident price structure for SEO services… first you have to customize what you have to do in SEO for your website…

while create your pricing you should consider link budget + time spent + outsorcing budget if applied + copywriting services + etc… it actually depends what are you goinf to do and offer. There is website and code optimization and external link and etc. seo
