Why page rank for the site increases and decreases? Before two days it was 2 and then it came to 6 but now today again it went to 2. If any one can provide me guidelines in this topic.
most likely it was the system just messing up or lagging or something, try checking it now and see what it is at.

Page Rank is only one of over 200 factors that make up your position in the search pages. The published figures generally lag behind the actual data that Google is using by quite some way. You would do far better to concentrate on what position you are in the SERPs for relevant search terms than worrying about your Page Rank.
All are facing like this issue. I think its from the multiple data centers. Google taking time to update the all data center so according to the progress of updation the PR varies… In your site can see only minor fluctuation so do not find any other issues

PR varying from 2 - 6 ? unbelievable…
While PR updation on going , small vary may happens … but this is big issue… may be the tools u r using some problem…sudden drops from 2- 6 is also m doubted… what about yours old PR history . give some more detail about it plz
Usually page rank is dependent upon number of back links. I f you have more back links most probably you have high PR. So it can be increased and decreased as well. If you put your back link at such a site which is already penalised by Google, it also affect badly on your site and your PR can be decreased.

I would qualify that by saying that whilst it may or may not have a great effect on your rankings it is an easy way to see what Google thinks of the quality/authority of your incoming links.
I think you need to update your plug-ins. Sometimes mistakes happens. Have you checked the PR in different ISP systems.
Are you sure you saw the pagerank correctly. I know sometimes around an update it might move one up or down but jump 4 places from 2 to 6. I’ve never heard that.
Are You Kidding To Me… How can Page Ranks came from PR 2 TO 6 and after two days it came back to 2. Just check your PR tool… It might not be working… Well There is Proper channelize approach adopt by Search Engine to allocate the Page Rank…
I think google is adjusting the PR AGAIN. One of my sites was PR4 before, then PR3 2 years ago, PR4 last year and now dropped to PR3, last happened 2 weeks ago. Although traffic not affected which is the most important. Don’t worry about PR too much. Just concentrate on your keywords ranking
