Seeking the best advice to promote a YouTube video

Hello,

I volunteer at a student-run organization that offers a free interprofessional education (IPE) course for first-year medical students.

Earlier this summer, we produced a short video that demonstrated how a variety of medical professionals could work as a team.
With permission from the university, we posted the video to YouTube and since then it has successfully increased enrollment in the course.
Next, we would like to see if we can contact one of the national IPE organizations to see if they can watch (and share) our video.

  1. What is the best way to ask them to do this?

  2. If I created a Twitter account for the organization and made a tweet about the video, how can I ensure that anyone outside of the university will re-tweet or favorite it?

  3. Finally, what else should I do to promote the YouTube video?

I appreciate your help!

  1. You can directly mail that universities for your video OR you can message them on social media anout your you tube video.

  2. Without followers, there is no meaning to tweet. First create an account and interact with more people. Follow experts from your fields, retweet them, tag them in your tweet, etc. You can also tweet about your video here but if you have more followers, there is more chance people with see your video and retweet about your video.

  3. Other than twitter, You can start exploring on Facebook, Reddit, Linkedin, etc.
